A Grade 1-2 classroom at Thomson Community School is set to move to remote learning due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases.
In an email Friday afternoon, Regina Public Schools said students in that class will start learning from home on Tuesday and will continue remote instruction until Oct. 19. They’re to return to school Oct. 20 if they don’t have symptoms.
All other Thomson students are to be in school on Tuesday after the long weekend.
The division reported two cases at Thomson, as well as one case at each of Ecole Wilfrid Walker and Winston Knoll Collegiate.
There have been 181 cases reported at 56 schools in Regina’s two largest school divisions and on three school buses since Sept. 1.
