A two-vehicle Boxing Day crash near Lake Lenore has killed two people.
According to Humboldt RCMP, five were involved in the collision between a car and an SUV. Three passengers in the SUV were injured, while a woman driving the car and the man driving the SUV were killed.
Everyone involved in the accident is from the Humboldt area.
The collision happened around three kilometers south of Lake Lenore, on Highway 368.
Officers responded to the crash just after 4 p.m. Sunday, closing the highway after their arrival. It has since reopened.
RCMP is telling us it won’t be providing updates on the three injured on the scene, all were sent to the hospital following the accident.
