Iceville is closed for business until Friday.
Regina Exhibition Association Limited announced Tuesday that appointments to skate on the rink at Mosaic Stadium were being cancelled through Thursday due to the cold and snowy weather.
“The threshold for keeping Iceville open on a particular day is -20 degrees without windchill,” REAL said in a media release. “This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of REAL’s guests.”
Anyone who had a booking for any of the three days can get a refund. The rink is to reopen Friday at noon.
Bookings can be made by visiting Iceville.ca. The cost to skate is $5 per person.
