One man is dead after a head-on collision between a semi and a minivan Sunday near Battleford.
According to the RCMP, the crash happened shortly after 1 p.m., just west of the intersection between Battleford Road and Highway 16 on the south side of the city.
The lone occupant of the westbound van, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and lone occupant of the semi wasn’t hurt.
The RCMP is investigating, but said it doesn’t believe alcohol was a factor.
