A 61-year-old-woman has been arrested after Yorkton Municipal RCMP found illegal tobacco products during a traffic stop.
According to a release, RCMP responded to a call for assistance from CN Rail Police on Saturday around 8 p.m.
Monique Blanche Milliken of Beatty, Sask., was arrested after RCMP found about 200,000 illegal cigarettes and over $5,000 in cash.
Milliken was charged with possession and transport of tobacco product exceeding 10,000 cigarettes for the purpose of sale, possession of proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000, and possession of unstamped tobacco product.
Milliken appeared in Provincial Court in Yorkton on Monday and is set to appear again on May 8 .
