A drug raid in the Cathedral neighbourhood Tuesday resulted in the seizure of nearly half a kilogram of fentanyl.
The Regina Police Service’s Drug Unit and its Community Services Division executed a search warrant on a house and found 480 grams of fentanyl, $22,500 in cash, and multiple cellphones, digital scales, packaging and other trafficking equipment.
A 34-year-old Calgary man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
He made his first court appearance Wednesday.
