Some of Regina’s busiest roads are next on the city’s street sweeping schedule.
Starting Sunday, street sweepers will be working on high-traffic and arterial roads like Albert Street, Broad Street and Arcola Avenue.
Roads in the downtown and Cathedral neighbourhoods that typically have a lot of on-street parking also are to be swept, so residents are asked not to park on their streets on scheduled days.
The city said there will be No Parking signs in place, so vehicles parked in zones where parking is prohibited could be ticketed $120 and towed.
Street sweeping in residential neighbourhoods is planned for later in April.
