The lights are almost completely back on throughout the southwest.
That part of Saskatchewan has dealt with power outages since Tuesday’s storm ripped out power lines.
Since then, SaskPower has made progress every day on getting things back online.
In a news release Friday night, the Crown corporation said it had restored power to 145 customers across the Nekaneet First Nation and four Hutterite colonies south of Maple Creek.
However, 653 customers still didn’t have power overnight.
It’s expected that their service will come back by 10 p.m. Saturday.
