A second woman has been charged in connection with Regina’s ninth murder of 2021.
On Oct. 13, Regina police found Peri A.N. Redwood dead at a house in the 1700 block of Ottawa Street. One day later, police said she had been murdered.
On Feb. 23, Hope Reign Cyr of the Punnichy area was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. This past Saturday, police arrested 32-year-old Jenell Dawn Cote of Regina in relation to the case.
Cote was in court Monday to answer to one charge of second-degree murder and one count of failing to comply with the condition of a release order.
