A second man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a 24-year-old Regina man in December.
The body of Morgan Blind was found in a burned-out house in the 1400 block of Cameron Street on Dec. 16. Police determined he had been murdered.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged on Dec. 23. On Wednesday, the Regina Police Service announced 36-year-old Nigel Franklin Cheslock also had been charged.
He made his first court appearance Wednesday.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Percy Bernard Pascal pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder on April 19, 2023 and was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 18 years. The murder charge against Cheslock was stayed.
