For those wondering about which city services will be running normally on Friday, the city has released its Easter long weekend schedule.
It said the landfill will be closed Friday, but will be open Saturday to Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Garbage collection and recycling will be picked up as usual.
Regina transit will be provided on Friday using Sunday schedules. The Transit Information Centre will be closed Friday. Regular weekday service resumes on Monday.
Paratransit service is running on a holiday schedule Friday (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.), but regular hours resume Saturday and Monday.
The Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre/ Art Gallery of Regina will be closed Friday.
The North West Leisure Centre and the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre will be closed Friday and Sunday.
The Regina Sportplex (Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre) will be open Friday and throughout the long weekend.
Parking meters are not in effect on Friday.
