On Friday, a 14-year-old boy made his first court appearance to answer to the charges. He joins a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old youth who previously were charged.
On June 29 at about 2:20 a.m., police were called to an alley in the 1200 block of Rae Street. There, they found a 14-year-old boy who had been killed and a 32-year-old woman who had been hurt. She was taken to hospital by paramedics.
None of the teens who have been charged can be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
