The City of Regina is asking for the public’s input as plans for a new fire station in southeast Regina move forward.
A vacant two-acre lot at the corner of Chuka Boulevard and Primrose Green Drive has been identified as the potential location.
“The new Fire Station No. 8 is required in response to the growing population in the area and to better protect residents not only in the southeast, but throughout the entire city,” the city said in a media release.
A come-and-go information night to discuss the potential location with city officials is set for Thursday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the gym at École St. Elizabeth School.
