10:00 – The province’s first legal, regulated online gaming platform went live on November 3. PlayNow.com has more than 500 casino games and a full suite of sports betting options. The site is managed by SaskGaming, is operated by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), regulated by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, and will generate profits that will support Saskatchewan people. 12:00 – We meet Jason McNamee, co-founder, and Chief Product Officer at Lucent Bio. Lucent Bio delivers crop nutrition that improves yields and soil health while sequestering carbon. McNamee is currently attending the United Nations Climate Conference at the invite of the Saskatchewan government. Last Saturday, he was part of a panel discussion. His company Lucent has developed a cellulose-based crop nutrition product in partnership with AGT foods. They currently produce their product at a facility in Humboldt and are currently building a production facility in Rosetown. McNamee joins the show to tell us more about Lucent and his time at the United Nations Climate Conference.
