There was a tragic end to the search for a woman who was reported missing early Wednesday in Moosomin.
On Thursday, the RCMP said 50-year-old Karen Ireland had been found dead.
A day earlier, the Mounties said they got a call at about 7:45 a.m., that the woman had gone missing. They said she had last been seen wearing a blue hospital gown and green pajama pants. She was not wearing shoes.
In an update Thursday, the RCMP said it was investigating Ireland’s death in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, but foul play wasn’t suspected.
