The Regina Pats couldn’t stop the Kamloops Blazers’ offence Wednesday night.
The Pats had won their previous three WHL games on the B.C. road trip, but the Blazers emerged with a 9-3 win at the Sandman Centre.
The Blazers (12-5-3-1) got two goals each from Fraser Minten and Caedan Bankier and singles from Matthew Seminoff, Logan Stankoven, Emmitt Finnie, Connor Levis and Ashton Ferster all before the end of second period.
After the ninth goal, the Pats pulled goalie Matthew Kieper and replaced him with Drew Sim.
Connor Bedard had three points in the game, extending his point streak to 25 games. He had two goals and an assist on a goal by Alexander Suzdalev.
The Pats (12-12-1-1) will take on the Prince George Cougars (13-10-0-0) on Friday.
