A stabbing Thursday night has led to a charge of attempted murder.
At around 10:30 p.m., Regina police officers got a call about an injured man lying in the 1100 block of Princess Street. There, police found a 35-year-old man who had life-threatening stab wounds.
Paramedics took the man to hospital for what police called “life-saving surgery.”
The police investigation led to a house in the 1000 block of Princess Street, where a 39-year-old man was arrested.
Gregory Rynold Bellegarde was charged with attempted murder. He made his first court appearance on Monday.
