Environment Canada issued a fog advisory Wednesday morning for the southwest corner of the province.
The advisory includes Shaunavon, Maple Creek and Cypress Hills and runs north along the Alberta border to Kindersley, Rosetown and Biggar.
“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero,” said a statement from the weather office. “If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.”
The Highway Hotline issued its own advisory, recommending no travel along the Trans-Canada west of Gull Lake as well as roads north and south of Maple Creek because of zero visibility.
