One person was sent to hospital after what firefighters are calling a major collision on the Regina Bypass on Saturday morning.
According to Regina Fire and Protective Services, the crash happened between Highway 33 and Highway 6 and involved “multiple semi trailers.”
One person was extracted from the wreckage and taken to hospital, and RCMP and paramedics also responded to the scene.
The bypass is closed to traffic, according to the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline.
“Please stay off the highways and obey all road closures during the storm,” the fire department urged in a social media post.
