Donald Trump has become the first former U.S. president to be charged with a crime.
Thursday’s historic vote by a Manhattan grand jury to indict Trump complicates his bid to re-take the White House next year.
While the exact charges haven’t been released in the case, the allegations are related to a $130,000 hush-money payment made on his behalf during his 2016 presidential campaign to adult film actor Stormy Daniels.
Trump could surrender as early as Tuesday.
