After a worker fell from a foundation wall and was seriously hurt, Song’s Construction Ltd. in Saskatoon pled guilty to Occupational Health and Safety violations.
The incident happened June 14, 2021 in Saskatoon – a worker fell from a formwork foundation wall.
Last month, Song’s Construction pled guilty to “being and employer at a place of employment, fail to provide any information, instruction, training and supervision that is necessary to protect the health and safety of workers at work, resulting in the serious injury to a worker.”
Another charge was stayed.
The fine was $17,142.86 plus a $6,875.14 surcharge, totalling $24,000.
