Above-average temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend, starting with a projected high of 27 C on Friday according to Environment Canada.
The temperature is 11 C above the normal high for May 5, and could edge close to last year’s record high of 29.2 C.
Sunny skies Friday and Saturday are expected to make for a great weekend in the Bridge City.
Rain is expected to move into the region Sunday, cooling the high to 21 C – which is still well above normal.
