The tornado warning was issued just after 9 p.m. for some regions around the Queen City. The warning was lifted just before 9:30 p.m., and replaced by a severe thunderstorm warning.
A severe thunderstorm warning for Regina also was removed, but not before the storm dumped rain on the city and overwhelmed some storm drains.
The Albert Street underpass near the intersection with Saskatchewan Drive was flooded during the deluge.
