The “police operation” on Montague Street has concluded, but no details about what happened were shared by the police service.
On Thursday, the Regina Police Service asked residents of the 1300 block of Montague Street to take shelter during a “police operation.”
No specifics were shared, but in a brief statement police asked those living in the immediate area to “shelter in place,” and asked motorists and pedestrians to use a different route.
“Updates will be provided as soon as they become available,” the police service said in a statement. “We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”
