A 16-year-old boy has been charged in a Regina murder.
Regina police said the boy was charged with second-degree murder after their investigation into the death of a 19-year-old man on Thursday.
Police said a man who had been shot was found just after 11 p.m., in a house in the 1400 block of Rupert Street. Officers and paramedics provided medical assistance, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 16 year-old suspect can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He made his first court appearance Wednesday morning.
