RCMP are in Fort Qu’Appelle investigating an incident outside a business has left one man dead.
The incident took place around 11 p.m. Saturday when Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP and File Hills First Nations police were called for a disturbance. The incident took place outside of a business on the 500 block of Hudson Avenue, which is in the vicinity of the Country Squire Inn.
When police arrived, a 27-year-old man was found with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
RCMP’s major crime unit is investigating and an autopsy scheduled for Monday in Regina.
The investigation is ongoing.
Next of kin have been notified and police said the man’s name won’t be released at this time.
