A second-degree murder charge has been laid in connection to a homicide last week in Regina.
Police have arrested and charged 46-year-old Trevor Roy Sunshine with second-degree murder. He appeared in Regina Provincial Court for the first time on Thursday morning.
Officers went to a home in the 3000 block of Sixth Avenue North on Friday after learning about an injured man there. When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from what looked like serious stab wounds.
Officers provided first aid, but the victim died from his injuries a short time later.
Regina police are now identifying the victim as Dallas Paul Iron, 39.
