A seven-year-old girl is dead following a crash on Highway 1 Monday night.
RCMP said the crash happened around 6 p.m. on the highway near Belle Plaine, west of Regina.
Police said a car and an SUV collided in the westbound lane.
A seven-year-old girl, who was travelling in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. No other people were involved in the crash.
The roadway was clear as of Tuesday.
RCMP, including a collision reconstructionist, are still investigating.
