Naicam man charged with second degree murder

Another small town has been rocked by murder.
An 81-year-old man from Naicam is dead after the Melfort RCMP responded to a report of a serious assault on May 2.

His death was considered suspicious.
Later that evening, a 57-year-old man from Naicam was arrested in Melfort.
Further investigation determined the two men were related to one another.
The 57-year-old is in custody and will appear in court on May 6.
