On July 24, at around 7 a.m. in Alida, residents noticed an increase in RCMP presence.
The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team was executing a search warrant related to a multitude of break-and-enters that happened in spring.
Alida is roughly two hours and 40 minutes southeast of Regina.
In addition to the woman and boy arrested on scene, officers arrested two men and another woman on July 25 in Estevan.
According to officers, they “located and seized a number of items, including a firearm, magazines, electronics and identification cards that did not belong to the occupants of the residence.”
