A section of Highway 1 remained partially blocked on Monday morning after a semi caught fire on Sunday evening.
The fire initially closed both westbound lanes of the highway roughly eight kilometres west of Webb, between Swift Current and Gull Lake, but one westbound lane was opened at around 10 p.m.

The RCMP said the second lane will likely be opened on Monday morning after the scene has been cleaned up, but police asked drivers to be careful when passing through the area.
“We ask motorists to use caution when traveling in the area given the continued lane closure,” the RCMP said.
There was no word on any injuries resulting from the fire.
