A 63-year-old woman from Red Pheasant First Nation died after being seriously injured in North Battleford.
On Wednesday at around 10:30 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report that someone had been hurt outside a business on the 900 block of 101st Street in North Battleford.
Officers and local EMS arrived on the scene to find an adult female seriously hurt.
She was taken to hospital where she later was declared deceased. Her family has been notified.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continue to investigate.
It encourages anyone with information to contact the Saskatchewan RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
There will be a continued increased police presence in the area as a result of this investigation.
