Alberta man, 61, dies in collision near Landis

A 61-year-old from Millet, Alta. is dead after an SUV and a semi collided on Highway 14 near Landis on Thursday.

Unity RCMP said in a news release on Nov. 29 that motorists could expect delays in the area as an RCMP collision reconstructionist was working at the scene.

Police said they were told of the collision around 2:35 p.m., on Nov. 28 , and the the driver and sole occupant of the SUV died at the scene.

The driver of the semi reported no injuries to police but was taken to hospital for further assessment, they added.
