Canora RCMP were called just shy of midnight to a rollover in Preeceville of a motorcycle on Highway #49 involving two people.
Local EMS and fire also responded, but the driver was declared deceased on the scene. EMS assessed the female passenger for non-life-threatening injuries.
The 47-year-old Preeceville area man has been identified and his family notified.

On Onion Lake Cree Nation, a 25-year-old woman from the First Nation was declared deceased by EMS after a single-vehicle rollover.
Around 4:30 a.m. Onion Lake RCMP were called to Chief Taylor Road for a rollover. The sole occupant’s family has been notified.
RCMP at both sites are working with their collision reconstructionist.
