A 45-year-old man from Saskatoon and a 33-year-old woman have been charged after three RCMP vehicles and two dumpsters were damaged in the parking lot at the Melfort detachment on Monday.
The Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release that one of the police vehicles was extensively damaged and is no longer driveable, while another will require repairs. None of the police vehicles were occupied and no injuries were reported.

Police said that the chaos began around 9:30 p.m. after a truck was driving around the area erratically and struck the vehicles and dumpsters.
The man driving then jumped out of the truck and the woman who was a passenger got in the driver’s seat and drove away, police said.
RCMP said the man initially resisted but was soon arrested and officers found the truck nearby and arrested woman.
The man has been charged with, operating a vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public, operating a vehicle while impaired by a drug and resisting arrest.
The woman was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by a drug. Police did not say where she was from in the release.
Both appeared in Melfort Provincial Court on Tuesday.
