The Saskatchewan Roughriders have a short week before heading back out east to take on the Toronto Argonauts, the defending Grey Cup champions.
While the Riders come into the game at 2-0 despite some mistakes in both games, the Argos have also struggled and are expected to take the field without quarterback Chad Kelly or linebacker Wynton McManis.

The Riders will once again battle an injury, as wide receiver Sam Emilus missed the first day of practice to start the week due to a foot injury. Outside of that, the Riders remained fairly healthy following their win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The Roughriders will need to determine how they want to roll out their roster, with running back Thomas Betrand-Hudon (groin) returning to practice. The club is expected to bring on wide receiver Joe Robustelli, so the team will need to determine which American gets taken off in his place.
This could also be a revenge game for running back Ka’Deem Carey, who was released by the Argos after training camp.
Kicker Brett Lauther struggled in the game against Hamilton on Saturday, missing three field goals and a convert attempt against Hamilton.
Jamie Nye and Britton Gray preview the game, answer fan questions, discuss Robustelli possibly starting this week and go around the CFL in this week’s edition of The Blitz: The Podcast.
