Police in Saskatoon said the driver of a truck fled the scene of a crash and abandoned their vehicle after a serious crash on 20th Street early on Tuesday morning.
According to police, a report indicated that a truck struck a car at the intersection of 20th Street West and Avenue C South at around 2 a.m., and the driver of the truck then took off. The vehilce was later found abandoned, police said.

“The driver and lone occupant of the car was transported to hospital with minor injuries,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“Members of the Collision Analyst Unit are continuing to investigate.”
Traffic restrictions were put in place in both lanes of 20th Street, but the restrictions have since been lifted.
