Yellow caution tape lined the perimeter of the north Al Ritchie Community Centre parking lot on Tuesday afternoon.
The Regina Police Service said it was on the scene of a “motor vehicle incident involving a pedestrian” on Lindsay Street.
It’s currently investigating the incident.
I'm at the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian at the Al Ritchie Community Centre. Police aren't saying much except MVA involving a pedestrian right now, but there does appear to be a sheet covering a body here #yqr pic.twitter.com/mqk2qyYOxL

More than a dozen police cars were in the immediate area of the small dirt parking lot Tuesday afternoon. A white sheet covered a small area of the lot with a bicycle on the ground beside it.
Some officers were working in the parking lot while others were knocking on doors in the neighbourhood.
A few people nearby said this kind of thing doesn’t often happen in the area.
