The Saskatchewan Roughriders are at the top of CFL, with an unblemished 4-0 record heading into Week 6.
But this week, the Riders will welcome a Calgary Stampeders team that is off to a surprisingly hot start to the year, with a 3-1 record. Last week, the Stamps knocked off another previously unbeaten team – the Winnipeg Blue Bombers – in impressive fashion.
The Riders will have quarterback Trevor Harris back in action for the game against Calgary on Friday after he missed the team’s win over the B.C. Lions due to a concussion. But Saskatchewan is still dealing with some more injuries to starters. Offensive lineman Trevon Tate will be out for an extended period of time, and Zack Fry will start in his place this week.
Calgary also boasts an impressive rushing attack, with Dedrick Mills currently in second place in the CFL rushing race, with 311 yards on the ground. Riders running back AJ Ouellette is the current leader, with 347 yards.
