A 20-year-old man from Melfort is dead following a collision between a semi-truck and trailer and a pickup truck.
This happened on Tuesday at around 11 a.m. on Highway #41, west of Melfort.
Melfort RCMP, EMS and fire crews responded to the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck was declared dead at the scene. His family has been notified.
The semi-truck driver did not report any injuries to police.

Battlefords RCMP investigating fatal rollover
STARS was called out to a grid road in the RM of Rossmount Thursday morning following a rollover on a grid road that turned fatal.
One of the occupants of the vehicle was declared dead by STARS while en route to the hospital.
He’s been identified as a 44-year-old man from North Battleford. His family has been notified.
Two other people in the vehicle, an adult man and woman, were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
A second adult woman did not report injuries to police.
Melfort and Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate both incidents with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
