Two RCMP vehicles were rammed in a an incident in Redwing just north of Prince Albert on Thursday, which ended in a man facing charges which include assaulting a police officer with a weapon.
The man is facing a number of other charges, as are two women who were also arrested.

Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on July 25 that officers from the Prince Albert detatchment were told around 9 a.m. on July 24 that a wanted man had been spotted driving an SUV on Highway 2 near Diefenbaker Bridge and that he was believed to be armed.
Police said they then found the vehicle parked on a service road in Redwing, and surrounded it with police vehicles.
RCMP said that the man driving the SUV then reversed into one of the police vehicles, and then drove forward hitting a second before the vehicle was immobilized after being driven into in ditch nearby.
Police said both RCMP vehicles were extensively damaged but no one was injured.
Two women and a man were then arrested, and police said officers found a loaded rifle in a search of the vehicle.
As well as two counts of assaulting a police officer with a weapon, the 33-year-old man from Southend is also facing charges of fleeing from police, three counts of mischief over $5000, operating a vehicle while prohibited, refusing to comply with an alcohol demand, dangerous operation of a vehicle, resisting police, being unlawfully at large, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm when knowing the possession was unauthorized, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, and possession of weapons contrary to an order.
Police said the man was also arrested on outstanding warrants from Prince Albert Police Service and Correctional Service Canada.
A 31-year-old woman from Prince Albert is also facing charges of unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to an order, and failing to comply with release order conditions.
A 25-year-old woman from Southend was charged with possession of a firearm in a vehicle, possession of a firearm when knowing possession was unauthorized, unsafe storage of a firearm, two counts of weapons possession contrary to an order, and three counts of failing to comply with release order conditions.
The man appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on July 24, and both women appeared on July 25.
