Charges have been laid after a woman was found dead in a home in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood.
Police began investigating the incident on Friday and her death has been considered a homicide.
Two people have been charged in relation to her death.
Lyle Turcotte, 39, has been charged with second-degree murder.
Brandi Schile, 39, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The Regina Police Service (RPS) said in a news release on July 26 that officers were called to the home in the 1500 block of Cameron Street around 4 p.m. on July 25, where they found the woman’s body.
RPS said that, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, it had opened a death investigation.
The accused appeared in court Monday morning.
This is the Queen City’s eighth homicide of 2025. Last year, the city had six homicides.
