Police in Regina say officers responded to “a relatively small number of incidents” at this year’s Queen City Ex.
At the exhibition, which ran from Wednesday through Sunday, police returned 76 missing children safely to their families or caregivers and responded to five altercations (a category which police said includes assaults, robberies and other disturbances). Officers also responded to one call about a concealed weapon, a single reported theft, one report of mischief and one report of an intoxicated person.

Officers also responded to 11 miscellaneous incidents, which police said include things like breaches of court orders and traffic violations.
“The relatively small number of incidents is a testament to police presence as a deterrent, excellent work by REAL Security and the positive choices made by those attending the fair,” the Regina Police Service said in a statement.
“We look forward to next year.”
