The City of Regina has extended the season for Wascana Pool to September 28.
According to the City of Regina, the decision to extend the hours was made in order to ensure residents can access aquatic activities while the Lawson Aquatic Centre undergoes annual maintenance.

The Lawson Aquatic Centre’s gym will be closed from Monday through August 24, while the pool will be closed from Monday through to September 28.
“The City hopes that additional open hours at Wascana Pool in late summer will give residents more opportunities to enjoy outdoor swimming, waterslides, the lap pool, leisure pool and hot tub while the Lawson is undergoing annual maintenance,” the city said in a statement.
