According to a Facebook post from Corman Park Police Service, where the force shared photos of a truck which had crashed into a house, no one was injured and the driver will appear in court to face impaired driving charges.

“Imagine being fast asleep at midnight and awoken to a loud crashing sound and the power out. You find a truck partially in your basement that destroyed the power box, and an impaired driver in your house,” the post read.
In a separate post, police said on Sept. 4 at 10:20 p.m. officers saw a vehicle driving north on Highway 12 near Twp 382 Rd with no tail lights.
In the post on Friday, police said the vehicle was stopped with two children aged seven and 12 inside and the driver failed a breath sample on a roadside screening device.
Police said he was then arrested and taken to the Martensville RCMP detachment to provide two more samples, which they said revealed the driver was allegedly nearly twice the legal limit. He has been scheduled to appear in court in October.
“No issues with people enjoying themselves whether with alcohol or cannabis but there are unlimited options for you to NOT drive and put other road users at risk, never mind your own children,” police said.
