But despite the holiday, a number of city services will continue without interruption.
Waste collection will be picked up as scheduled, the city said, and the North West and Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centres will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Transit will operate using its Sunday schedule on the 30th, but the information centre and RIDELine will be closed. Paratransit will operate on a holiday schedule from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.
The Regina Cemetery and Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery will be open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., but the city noted that the offices will be closed.
