A massive fire in Regina damaged several homes on Monday night, but no injuries were reported.
A multi-family home that was under construction burned to the ground after the fire broke out on Victoria Avenue, east of Broad Street.

Regina Fire & Protective Services told 980 CJME that the houses to the east and west of the multi-family home also suffered damage, along with a garage.
The fire department posted to social media shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday, saying crews were working to gain control of the blaze.
Large flames were seen coming from the burning building, while thick smoke billowed up into the sky.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but the fire department said it is under investigation.
On Tuesday morning, the smell of smoke still lingered in the area.

One man who was driving by stopped to look at the damage. He told 980 CJME he was shocked by the scene left behind.
Wooden boards that used to be the frame of the home were left charred black and appeared to have collapsed into the basements of the multi-family unit.
A blue fence and yellow tape reading “Fire line do not cross” surrounded the damaged property on Tuesday.
