Two men from B.C. are facing drug trafficking charges after an investigation by Regina Police Service (RPS) that police say netted drugs and cash worth more than $250,000.
RPS said in a news release on Oct. 17 that the men, aged 21 and 22, are facing charges including possession of cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl for trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

RPS said that on Oct. 16, members of the force’s drug unit, with the assistance of the tactical support and police dog teams, arrested one of the men and found he had $4,040 in cash and 41 g of fentanyl on him.
Police said they also searched the area where the arrest occurred and found a further 340 g of fentanyl and 130 g of methamphetamine.
Officers then searched a short-term rental in the 5100 block of E Simard Ave, where police said they found around 1.8 kg of methamphetamine, around 715 g of fentanyl, around 691 g of cocaine and $5,000 cash.
Both men appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Oct. 17.
