Pelican Narrows RCMP officers are investigating a second shooting that occurred on Remembrance Day. A shooting was reported earlier that day after the driver of an ATV dropped a gunshot victim off at a local medical centre.
“It has not been determined whether the two incidents are connected,” police said in a statement.
The Mounties said the second incident occurred outside a home in Pelican Narrows, where police received a report of an individual with a gunshot wound at about 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 11.

RCMP said officers and local paramedics responded to the call.
“Investigation determined an interaction occurred between a male and an unknown individual near a residence on Nesoteo Road. A firearm was discharged, injuring the male,” said police in the statement.
“The male was taken to a medical centre by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature,”
