Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation announced its Grey Cup 50/50 winner Tuesday.
According to its website, Wade Gasmo won the 50/50 prize payout was $1,002,553. Riders head coach Corey Mace called Gasmo to break the news to him after the draw was completed 1 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium.

The total jackpot was $2,005,107.
According to the foundation’s website, this is the “largest 50/50 jackpot in CFL history” which they “could not have done it without the best fans in the world.”
Early Bird Prize of a trip to Portugal and Spain or $13,500 cash went to James Holland.
Shawn Steele won the loyalty prize of Riders jersey and two game tickets.
Deborah Johnson won the loyalty prize of $1,000.
Grey Cup 50/50 ticket buyers overcharged hundreds of dollars
Some fans said they experienced technology issues when trying to buy the 50/50 tickets. They received multiple error messages and ended up being overcharged.
The system wasn’t able to handle the influx of people trying to buy tickets, according to the foundation’s emailed statement.
The foundation says it’s working on issuing refunds.
